Smackdown Live couldn't build up to the hype created by Raw, but in its own defense, it did take away a lot of buzz-worthy storylines that could've developed after. The Smackdown Live-exclusive PPV, Battleground 2017 doesn't really look impressive, given the fact that this is the last PPV before Summerslam. A total of 8 matches have been announced, out of which, 3 will be Championship matches, a Flag Match, a #1 Contender's match and 3 non-title matches.
