Disclaimer: Given the continuous changing nature of major events in the WWE, rumors are just a way to stay updated with the proceedings in WWE. Please note that these are not legitimately underway.

Rumors:

1. In addition to an already planned Women's tournament (named after legendary wrestler May Young), which is set to propel the Women's division to new heights, there are plans for a rumble match in January. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the January-PPV could well witness a historic Women's Royal Rumble Match in addition to the Men's Royal Rumble Match.

2. Also noted, WWE are currently planning for a women's Tag Team Tournament next year on the lines of the Dusty Rhodes Classic tournament held not too long ago.

3. WWE is toying with the idea of pulling up the scheduled main-event of WM34 to Summerslam with a Roman vs. Lesnar Championship match. However, it has also been noted that the scheduled match for WM34 is still underway and nothing has changed, possibly leading to a multiple contender's Championship match at Summerslam for the Universal Title involving Lesnar, Rollins, Balor and/or Reigns.

Updates:

1. There was a shocking turn of events last night, as AJ Styles won the United States Championship in a live event at the hallowed Madison Square Gardens Arena. This certainly brings exciting changes to the proceedings on SmackDown Live's main event this week with AJ Styles winning the Battle Royal. Catch the Blue-Brand's show on Tuesday to follow the proceedings.

2. Austin Aries was released by the WWE this week following a failing career in the Cruiserweight Division. Rumors suggest that he asked out.
Aries has been dealing with a lot since breaking into the main roster. His injuries relegated him to the announce table following which he had a feud with Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship. An already failing division, WWE has received its lowest views with it. Releasing Aries would only result in an aggravated failure as he was one of the only superstars with charisma and mic skills on the division.

3. Finn Balor, Nia Jax, Cedric Alexander, Bayley, Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe made their debuts at the house show taking place in Madison Square Garden.
